Tamron - Pentax Adaptable 150mm Filter Holder

My "ultimate" 150mm filter adapter solution. Unlike my previous designs, which were designed to be as small and easy to print as possible, this monstrosity was designed to be "no compromise". It's huge, testing the maximum dimensions printable on my machine, it's configurable; with a number of M2.5 fittings allowing attachments of various accessories (currently limited to shade hoods and a attachment loop), and has the potential to be easily modified to accompany different lenses. It fits snugly, allows full 360degree rotation, and can mount 2x 150mm filters without vignetting (minor vignetting possible on the 15-30mm at widest setting, with lens at closest focus distance and ~45degree rotation of mount). Mounts are available for the Tamron/Pentax 15-30mm f2.8 and the Pentax DA 25mm f4 645 (probably not compatible with the Pentax DFA 25mm f4) Added .step file of Lens Mount to modify to your needs, simply adjust the internal dimensions to suit your lens. You’ll need to print: 1x Main Shroud 1x Lens Mount (these mounts are specific to each lens- currently 2 available, can be easily modified to suit most other lenses) 1x Lens Mount Retaining Ring 2x Double Filter Mounts (optional- setup as seen in images) 2 x Sliding Petal 2x Sliding Petal Mount 1x Hinged Petal 1X Hinged Petal Mount 1x Loop Attachment Loop attachment can be substituted for another Hinged Petal + Mount, currently combinations of petals different to the one shown in the images may cause interactions and be incompatible. (eg. Sliding petals are too long to be placed on the sides AND top/bottom simultaneously) I printed most components in ASA, ABS is unlikely to be suitable for the larger components due to warpage. Design incorporates 24x M2.5x3.8x4mm brass threaded inserts, which were inserted using a soldering iron. 8 of which are necessary for the Retaining Ring, the rest pertain to the Petals (hood) and are optional. These are matched to M2.5x5mm countersunk screws. Each Filter Mount is fixed with 2x M4x~18mm countersunk screws, to M4x6x10mm brass threaded inserts, again inserted using a soldering iron. Hinged petals are fixed with 2x 1.6x32mm R clips. 3mm thick adhesive felt tape (Moroday brand used) is used to line the inside of the Lens Mount. To assemble, simply slide the Lens Mount into the front of the Main Shroud, you may need to lightly sand both surfaces to get a smooth rotation. Then fix the lens retaining ring to the Lens Mount.
