Tank Farm (wargaming widgets)

Tank Farm (wargaming widgets)

A bunch of tanks, stands, and a mechanical piece to make a little chemical processing site for 28mm wargaming terrain. The components are pretty plug and play, though the mixer/splitter is more or less designed to have 5 inputs and 1 output or vice versa. The file all.stil has all of the components for one of the 60mm tanks laid out so you can just hit "Multiply" in your print tool (e.g., Cura), and produce a bunch of them easily. In my actual construction, in the attached photo, I used a wooden dowel for the largest tank so I didn't have to wait for such a tall print (had to get this built for a deadline), but I've included a 120mm barrel to print that as well. No supports are needed for this print, everything has been pieced out and has to be glued together instead. The end caps do have concave undersides, but the models include little popcorn supports, as pictured, that can be flicked off trivially with your fingernail. I have a blog post here talking a bit about the design and construction of these models and the tank farm piece: http://www.rocketshipgames.com/blogs/tjkopena/2016/05/medea-refinery-wip-part-5/ Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: High Infill: Default Notes: HIPs.
