Desktop Toy / Test Rig for the tracks I designed for an RC tank project... I'm nowhere near done with the tank, but I made this test rig to test out my tank tracks design. The two square recesses on the flat part of the link are for adding rubber pads or filling with silicon caulk in order to get traction on smooth surfaces. Links are connected using cut lengths of standard 1/75mm filament. (Be careful, because once the filiment is installed and trimmed, the links are pratically impossible to separate without destroying them) V1 Frame was not fit to be shared, lol. V2 Frame Has no base V3 Frame Has a base, making it a desktop toy. Bogey Wheels are designed to have a 608 "skateboard" bearing installed in the middle. Some M8 Washers would probably help installed between the wheels and the frame, but I didn't have any. It works just fine without them though.
