Tap Handle

Tap Handle

thingiverse

This is a Tap Handle I Designed, based off of early designs of tap handles. The good ole K.I.S.S Mantra. Trying to date the design, 1930s and 1940s seem to bring back a few results. Sears Robuck sold one in a kit back in the day. I prefer this style to other tap handles. Be sure to rotate the model so the V Cut is facing up. I Printed in CFNylon(NylonX) but PLA, ABS, PETG should all work equally well. The smaller hole might need to be smoothed with a drill, The larger hole is for an M5(thread) x8(length) x7(Width) Threaded Heat Insert, But flexible up to 10mm deep. BE SURE TO INSERT THE HEATED INSERT FROM THE SMOOTH SIDE. Then using 2 M5x25 Socket Head screws, face the V cuts towards each other and thread the bolts into the inserts from opposite sides.
