Tape Dispenser Core Replacement

Tape Dispenser Core Replacement

Have you ever lost, or broken, the insert in the tape that holds it down to the dispenser? Here is a quick 3D print fix that will allow you to keep using a dispenser after the tape holder portion of it is not usable. This insert fits the tape roll of the "universal invisible tape" that is found at my school (see below): however, the diameter can be adjusted to fit a different tape by downloading the piece and changing the diameter to be 0.035 cm more than the diameter of the inner core of the tape you are trying to use. This project was designed for a teacher, who needed a replacement for their tape holder. In order to save money, filament, and reduce the need for supports, we decided to utilize a small piece of dowel in order to secure the piece to the tape dispenser. However, if you do not have a dowel, and would like to print a "peg" instead, there is also a file that can be used to print it. (peg file to be uploaded) Enjoy!
