Tapered thread Bowden fix for M6

Tapered thread Bowden fix for M6

This is a Bowden adapter and fix for many popular 3D printers. I ripped the taper and cap from a file by krtektm "Tapered thread bowden coupling PC4-M6, PC4-M10" here on thingiverse and merged it with a 6mm threaded hole on tinkercad. The threaded input will need to be chased with a 6x1 metric tap. I made it tight because it is at the edge of tolerance for my printer, you could open it up slightly if done SLA. I'll admit I haven't tried it yet but it seems solid. The stud in the picture doesn't seem to be completely seated, will have to look at that. But after several failures of the 6mm air fitting, I'm just waiting for that sleeping dog to wake up. Bought a bottom and plug tap for chasing the threads for less than 10$ on Amazon along with 5 inserts for another 7$. Looking for these inserts is almost impossible, why, I don't know, so here is the URL and description: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X2HL91B?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details RLECS 5 pak mk8 Makerbot teflon throat tube. This is a 6x1 metric threaded hollow stud with a 4mm diam., 2mm hole teflon tube insert. You should insert the insert, metal side out (not teflon side out) or else the teflon insert will wallow out of the hole due to retractions, thereby defeating the whole purpose. I reamed the 2mm hole out when finished with a drill (~1.98 mm or 5/64") to remove burrs.
