Taranis Buddy Box - TGY-IA6B

My daughter want's to learn how to fly my quadcopters so i had to come up with a safe way of teaching her how to fly these flying meatchoppers. A wired buddy box system is a well known and proven solution for this, but come on it's 2017 and who needs wires these days?! Searching the internet i found that the FrSky Taranis modules houses a few pins that might make it possible to DIY my own wireless Remote Buddy Box system. Starting OpenTX 2.1 the Taranis has the option of using the PPM pin in the module bay for Trainer SBUS or CPPM input. I made up my own little PCB containing a Turnigy TGY-IA6B receiver (came with the TGY-I6s TX i bought for my daughter) and connected this to the PPM pin of the Taranis module bay and configured it to use SBUS (i prefer this over CPPM). Since this receiver takes anything between 4 and 6.5 volts DC as a power source the Taranis module bay Power Pin is not suitable as it provides battery power which in my case is 12.6 volts (3s Lipo power). So i added a small buck converter to my PCB to bring down the 12.6v battery power to a more comfortable 6 volts instead. A bare PCB stuck in the back of my Taranis does not look that well so i wanted a nice little case to go along with it. Owning a 3d printer once again proved it's use so i decided to design and print a nicely fitting case with a nice bracket to hold the antenna's in a somewhat correct angle. Enjoy or remix if you want. Cheers p.s. Most of the other Taranis module moduls have these locking tabs on the side. I decided not to include them in this model as they break really easy anyways.
