Target Stand

Target Stand

These are corner pieces designed to use for making a target stand that uses 1"x2" lumber. I used the cheap pine 1x2's, labeled as use for porch deck railing, that you find at Lowes/Home-Depot (actual dimensions are 0.75" x 1.5"). The holes that you push the wood into have a tapered ridge inside them so that you achieve a tight fit as you put it in. Cut your wood to any size you like to customize the size of the target stand. I included two STL files. One is the full size item, the other one is trimmed slightly to fit in the Printrbot Play (small build platform). Enjoy! Print Settings Printer: Printrbot Play Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.25mm Infill: 20% Notes: I oriented the part upside down on the print bed (see pictures) and used supports so that the horizontal hole prints without sagging. I uses a knife to remove the support from this hole - a little tricky, but it came out ok. Also - if your lumber isnt fitting, scale the piece up just a tad. The tapered ridge inside each hole should still help overcome any slop and achieve a tight fit.
