Basket coffin burial from Tomb 1004 at the site of Tarkhan, Egypt excavated by Flinders Petrie in 1911. The basket contains the body of an individual wrapped in linen around which is a large “net-like” wrapping of linen cord. Based on the head rest found near the coffin (now displayed inside the coffin near the head), the burial may date to Dynasty III. Currently it is in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo. Created from 66 photographs (Canon EOS Rebel T7i) using Metashape 1.6.1. Photographed in October 2019.
