This thing is a belt clip for the Tascam DR-05 Audio Recorder. The clip allows you to clip the recorder to your belt and flip it up so that you can see the screen. It also has a mount that allows you to screw on additional things like a cord holder that can hold a lavalier mic such as the Rode Lav so that you can keep it all tidy when not in use or to take up additional slack in the cable when in use.
