TaZ 3 Hot End Cooling Fan Bracket

TaZ 3 Hot End Cooling Fan Bracket

This bracket enables you to give active cooling to the hot end of TAZ3. It helps with the problem of the Hobbed bolt digging into the filament because it keeps the aluminum flange of the Budaschnozzle cooler, which keeps the segment of filament between the heat radiating fins and the top aluminum flange in solid (in hardened state). Active cooling makes your printer less picky on what brand of Filament to use... For example, I can now use ABS from MatterHacker, DeltaMaker, IC3D, etc. I was not able to use those filaments before because they got soft near the top aluminum flange of the hot end, making the Hobbed Bolt not able to push filament (like pushing flimsy spaghetti thru the extruding path), hence digging into the filament. Three Versions: for 50 mm fan using Heat Insert; for 50 mm fan using hex nut; and for 40 mm fan using hex nut. Instructions Mount the fan onto this bracket so that it is blowing toward the hot end (Budaschnozzle) then mount the assembly onto the two mounting holes on the right side of hot-end carriage using two M3 screws (10 mm). I run my fan at 65% of full speed and I can touch the aluminum flange with my finger without it feeling hot and no more dandruff from the Hobbed Bolt...
