I upgraded a TAZ X axis using billyd's TAZ 12mm upgrade components and McMaster sourced bearings. I found that his bearing holders were not a good match for the McMaster 12mm bearings. I remodeled these from scratch using original TAZ STL files as an underlay. Pictures show Fortus PC printed components. The holder inner diameter is line fit with the bearing outer diameter. The bearings have 4 metal parts that need to fit within the plastic bearing holder to provide compression of the inner balls onto the 12mm rod. McMaster part numbers: Bearing x3: 6232K32 12mm shaft 2x 3ft: 1555T62 Print Settings Printer: Fortus 400mc Supports: No Resolution: .200 Infill: 100 Notes: 1 shell, 100% infill.
