TAZ 5 Power Supply Bracket

TAZ 5 Power Supply Bracket

This is a bracket to mount the TAZ 5 power supply vertically on the side of the printer just above the electronic control box. Make 4 of these and mount them directly to the back of the power supply with 4mm screws in the existing threaded holes in place of the flat head screws that hold the sheet metal case to the power supply unit inside the box. Uses 5mm screws and aluminum extrusion nuts to mount to the printer frame. I suggest you use lower profile heads on the 5mm bolts (Pan head rather than typical SHCS) to avoid possible slight interference with the bolts on the printer carriage. You may notice that I have also changed where the cord going to the electronic control box exits the power supply (opposite side) compared to the original design and I added a little 120V outlet box to the front side under the power switch. These are mods I made to clean up the chord routes and allow me to have local 120v power to the MatterControl Touch tablet. These are not necessary for this mounting of the power supply to work Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: Designed to be printed without support structure.
