TAZ Filament Guide Tube Restrainer

This is a clip for installation on top of the tool head of a TAZ printer. It is for restraining one end of the filament guide tube to reduce strain of brittle filament (like cheap PLA) to keep it from snapping while printing. You will need to first mark a hole to drill on the tool head using it as a template. Slowly drill the hole big enough for a heat-set copper insert (some times it is called push-in insert). I used an insert for M2.5 screw and the screw length I used was 16 mm. Instructions You do need to drill a hole for a heat-set insert on the tool head (see photo on where that hole will be) Use this piece as a template to mark the location of the hole using a small drill bit. Then use a drill bit of the appropriate size for your heat-set insert to drill about the depth needed for the insert. Then insert the heat-set insert flush and that will do it.
