TBS Gemini Antenna Mount, designed to work with FrSky D4R-II receiver, or other receivers with wire-lead antenna(s). There are two versions included, one with the 'WiliM' logo, and another without logo. The design goals were to: Create separation between sources of RF noise and the antennas. To orient the two antennas in different directions To create a mount that would allow easy removal of the top & bottom covers without having to remove the antennas To fit in the stock Gemini case, without having to go through a lot of hassle. = Basically an out-of-the way antenna mount, that provides good antenna placement, is easy to install and use, is completely reversible, and fits properly and easily into the stock carrying case. :o) The antenna mount is a friction fit - it simply presses into place. No fasteners are necessary. The first time it goes in, the fit should feel tight. I have installed and removed mine many times, and flown with it as well; the fit has remained tight. To complete installation, you'll need one antenna mast cut to length. Some silicon tubing to join the antenna masts to the antenna holder. I printed mine on a Solidoodle 4, at 0.3 resolution, 1.0 infill. I hope you like it and find it useful! Instructions To complete installation, you'll need two antenna masts cut to length (one antenna tube is long enough to make tubes appropriate for both stock D4R-II antennas). You will also need some silicon tubing to join the antenna masts to the antenna holder. I printed mine on a Solidoodle 4, at 0.3 resolution, 1.0 infill. Thread the antenna wires through the two large holes in the mount. Snap the mount in place from underneath. Thread the antennas into the small hole in the back of the mount; depending on your printer, you may need to open up the holes a bit by hand. Cut two pieces of silicon fuel tubing (available at hobby stores), about 20mm each. Thread the antenna wires through them, and push the silicon tube over the ends of the antenna holder. Cut two pieces of RC antenna tube (available at hobby stores), about 4-5" each. Thread the antenna wires through them, and twist them into the end of the silicon tube. Go and fly!
