Tea Bag Jiggler

Tea Bag Jiggler

Sometimes Brownian motion just isn't enough! I made my first tea bag jiggler in 1997 after coming back to a freshly poured cup of tea after five minutes only to discover the tea hadn't infused and the water was still clear. The original was made from timber and Meccano pieces. This Thing is designed to take a 9V battery. I found a good motor with a small swing arm which the T can connect to on eBay. Try searching for things like "DC motor swing arm". I've uploaded two versions of the base. One has the front panel holes for the motor and switch I use. The other is blank so you can drill it yourself to suit whatever pieces you can find. I've designed this so you should be able to print it without supports. PLA seems to work just fine but the better thermal properties of ABS would be advantageous. Thanks and enjoy!
