In some cases it is preferably to have a shorter but wider swerve. This swerve is designed to be used on a lightweight test chassis. Everything is 3d printable including the gears. Currently it uses 1/4 shafts and bushings, however if you make the drive shafts 8mm it can be made to use all cots gears with the help of a 8mm to 1/2 hex adapter.
