This is a mount for a Tekonsha P3 trailer brake controller, for a Gen 5 Toyota 4Runner. This mount uses an opening in the dash which is occupied by empty button blank. The mount allows you to install the controller on the 4Runner without having to drill into the dash. Additional mounting parts required: Two M4 - 0.7 x 45 mm bolts. (40mm might be enough) Two M4 - 0.7 nylon lock nuts. First verify that the mounting bolts fit the holes in the printed parts. It may be necessary to expand the holes slightly depending on your printer and settings. 1) Remove the button blank from the stand alone button on the left side of the drivers dash. 2) Install the Through Block part into the opening in the dash. 3) Insert the two bolts into the Front Bracket V2 part, and then through the two holes in the Through Block part. 4) Insert the M4 - 0.7 nylon lock nuts into the openings of the Back Plate part. 5) Install the Back Plate part from the back of the dash. 6) Gently tighten the bolts to tighten the mount to the dash. Do not over tighten or you may damage the mount or the dash. 7) Using the existing mounting bolts mount the controller to the mount, and attach the wiring harness.
