I Own and Restore many old TEKTRONIX Analog scopes and when using them in bright light situations, the trace is often not visible due to many factors, such as bright overhead lights or sunlight. This CRT shield or shade eliminates much of the glare or excess ambient light to the CRT and makes it easier to see even the faintest traces. There are models for several different scopes, such as the 4xx Series, the 24xx Series, the 7xxx Series and the Type 576 Curve tracer. Some of these models have a Logo or Model Number on the top surface. These can be printed in almost any material that you like. I have printed PETG, PLA in almost every model. I am trying TPU now to see how it works. I like the TPU as it is flexible, but have not tested it extensively. Visor clips onto the existing CRT Bezel camera slots and is simple to remove as required.
