This is a quick adapter to use the Sony ZV-1 (and ZV-F) compact cameras with a teleprompter like the Parrot Padcaster. This also works with my generic iPad-sized teleprompter, which has the same adapter size. Without a lens ring, it's not possible to use the normal step-up adapters to get to the mount size for the padcaster. The plate section was designed to be thin so that it can be put between a quick release and the camera. I've found all the QRs I've tested, the standard tripod thread screw works fine. 4
