Telescope Motor Focuser Bracket

Telescope Motor Focuser Bracket

This is a bracket I designed to use for motor focusing with my telescope. It fits the Skywatcher Startravel 102 focuser and holds a Nema 17 PG25 stepper motor. Possibly fits other telescope focusers but there was no working bracket model for my specific scope. The design includes adjustable length for a perfect fit and slits for using straps to fasten the stepper motor and connector. Works wonders - it's rock solid and doesn't flex when focusing. Do check out the MyAscomFocuser project if you want to build something like this yourself! Print it using supports for holes and slits. I used 50% infill just to be sure it won't flex when focusing. Print Settings Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 50% Notes: Choose a higher infill percentage than the default 20% to eliminate flexing. Use supports for the holes and strap slits. Rotate it so the fully flat side is down.
