Telescope Tube Rings + Dovetail + Secondary Scope Mount

<p>The design is sturdy and saves about 800 g compared to a metal version. The dovetail uses the Losmandy mount points (3'') of the Celestron AVX mount and has alignment stops for easier mounting at reproducible positions. The parts are printed in PETG and have a total weight of 620 g. Designed with Blender 2.91.</p><p>Bill of materials:<br>8 x Ruthex M5 thread inserts<br>2 x M5 x 50 mm<br>4 x M5 x 25 mm<br>4 x M5 x 15 mm</p><p>Update:<br>I included a tube ring with mounting holes. This allows the Starsense camera to be directly attached to it. I also measured the displacement under 2 kg of load and it was 25% less than the original metal version. So the design is indeed very sturdy.</p><h3>Print instructions</h3><ul><li>Dovetail printed with 25% infill, 3 perimeters and 5 top and down layers</li><li>2x Lower tube ring half printed with 20% infill, 2 perimeters and 10 top and down layers. Print second instance mirrored to have hinges on the same side!</li></ul><p>2x Upper tube ring half printed with 8% infill, 2 perimeters and 5 top and down layers.</p><p>Some parts are reinforced with 100% infill. Best print the 3mf files.</p>
