<p>Collet-based system designed for telescoping 1" PVC pipe inside of 1.5" PVC pipe. Designed with center-mounting a flight stick in mind, but should be usable for any application involving length-adjustable PVC piping.</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Rafts:</strong></p> <p>No</p> <p class="detail-setting supports"><strong>Supports: </strong> <div><p>Yes</p></div> <p><strong>Resolution:</strong></p> <p>0.2mm</p> <p class="detail-setting infill"><strong>Infill: </strong> <div><p>30-100%</p></div> <p><strong>Notes:</strong></p> <p>Forcing cone and collet printed at 100% infill PETG.</p> <p>Lower retainer and cap printed with PLA; multiprocess setup with ~35% infill for grips and 100% infil for threaded portions.</p> <p>Models oriented as-exported from Fusion 360. Recommend 180 degree Y rotation of cap, collet, forcing cone for printing. Lower retainer can be printed as-is, but will require supports.</p> <h3>Post-Printing</h3> <p>The lower retainer includes two indexing tabs to prevent rotation. Dry fit to 1.5" pipe, mark, and then cut with either a saw or rotary tool to accommodate.</p> <p>A shim is included to prevent wobbling. The number needed will depend on the length of 1" pipe used; they simply slide over the 1" pipe, so any number can be used. Two appear sufficient to eliminate nearly all wobble with approximately 12" of extension.</p> </p></p> Category: DIY
