After more than 6 months of modeling, here it is at the end! A tellurion largely 3D printable. Only the screws and a few metal rods as well as two wooden pieces are not 3D printable. I also wanted it to be as close as possible to reality in terms of the rotation periods of the three stars (Sun, Earth and Moon) despite the constraints of the model (size, etc.). *A crank turn corresponds precisely to a 7-day week. * Here are the values I used as well as the values I get with my tellurion: Period of the Earth's revolution (around the sun): ~365,256363 days My tellurion: ~365,256365 days Nb of synodic rotation of the Earth per year: ~365,256363 rotations My tellurion: ~365,256351 rotations Period of synodic revolution of the Moon: ~29,530589 days My tellurion: ~29,530591 days Period of revolution of the line of the Moon's knots(1): ~18.61 years My tellurion: ~18,60 years old (1)line of the nodes of the Moon = crossing of the plane of revolution of the Moon with that of the ecliptic (plane of revolution of the Earth). The size ratio between the Earth and the Moon is respected, as well as the inclination of the Earth's axis of rotation (~23,4367°) and the inclination of the Moon's plane of revolution (~5,145°). On the other hand, for reasons of space:), the distance ratios between the stars and the ratio of the sun's size are not respected. The different pieces are numbered in their name so be careful to mark the pieces well once printed so as not to mix them. It is to indicate in their name if they need to be printed several times. The pieces that include the names of the months are available in two languages, French and English. Regarding the list of the other parts not printable in 3D and that it will take to build it, it is at the beginning of the editing video. But it is mainly M3 screws with a conical head of different lengths and their bolts, as well as some metal tubes and rods (dimension in the video). It will also take 6 balls of 6mm in diameter (I use ball gun balls). If you have any questions or comments, do not hesitate to ask me in comment.
