Finally, here's Ten all ready to join the ragtag Lost Light crew! This fun ex-Legislator drone turned bar help, sure was a character all in his own right. Ten has been designed more like an action figure as he doesn't seem to officially transform, allowing him to have a fair bit of articulation. Most of the joints are made up of twin-headed ball joints which fit into the sockets designed into the parts to be connected. On top of his shoulders, Ten has a pair of armor pauldron bits. These can either be placed normally or flipped to have the pointy ends facing upwards as is seen at times. Since these pauldrons slightly flex to snap onto the top of the shoulders, either of these looks should be fairly easy enough to swap around to! There are 5mm ports which have been designed into Ten so that effect parts can be added on too! Some of these are on his sides which allow for flame effects to be added on to give the impression of him floating on side thrusters! And also a 5mm port on the bottom of each of his feet, again providing for a different sort of take-off or flying look. On Ten's back sits a booster where one can paint up a decor to be similar to the comics, with an ironic 9 in bold and the fact that Ten failed the Ambus Test :P === ASSEMBLY === Here's a render of Ten, showing a little more detail on him. This particular piece can be a fairly complicated build, so a bit of tweaking of some parts may be required (more details on this later) Also here is an exploded view, detailing and naming the various parts and showing how they go together. All the ball joints parts have been designed as separate parts so if they don't fit too well on the first try (either being too tight or too loose), they can be re-scaled slightly and reprinted. Additionally, some slight sanding of the parts to reduce their size, or adding some superglue will help to enlarge and tighten some parts. Do take note of the orientation of the joint pieces for 3d printing too, as they will need to be printed horizontally for optimum strength. Printing them vertically upright will make them very susceptible to snapping. A longer shoulder peg has also been provided as an optional piece, allowing for a wider range of shoulder options. === Happy 3d printing and have fun adding this fun dude to your Lost Light Crew! =) === This model is not to be uploaded or sold in any form and is intended for personal use only.
