There are three power T's because there are three of us that made this, and we each want one. It is the Power T for the University of Tennessee Volunteers. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: Yes Infill: Sure Notes: (type misc. notes here) How I Designed This We used blender to design our thing. We started with a cube then we extruded it to get a baseline of what we wanted. Then we used a cylinder, and did something called Boolean to make the curves we wanted. After making the curves we went back and fixed up all the mistakes and problems we had. Project: Power T We learned how to use blender, and you will too! Nobody without a high school edumucation or a very skilled blenderer. You should have an understandin' of how to use the Boolean feature. For the steps, I started out with a cube, I extruded three out of the four sides so it looked like an upside down T. After that I made a cut at the top to make a new face. Then I extruded those, and repeated the process at the end of the new part. Then I had a baseline for what I wanted it to look like. Next, I created a cylinder and widened it to match the curve of the actual T. Then, I moved the cylinder into the corner. Next, I went to the tool bar on the right and went into the modifier section and selected Boolean under the "Add Modifier" drop down. Once the Boolean modifier has been added, select the difference operation. In order to cut out of the T and have faces, select the baseline T in the grid, then make sure the cylinder is in the correct position. Finally while the T is selected on the grid, select the cylinder under the "Object:" drop down and apply. Repeat this for each corner and adjust the size of the cylinder to match the bottom corners. Finally I went back and checked the thing for problems or anything messed up about the thing. The final product if you followed the instructions correctly should be the Tennessee Volunteers Power T.
