Tensegrity structures per Buckminster Fuller. Simple 6 strut sphere tensegrity plus 12 strut cuboctohedron. Icosahedron in the works, bug me if interested. Notes: Print the unit pieces in various colors if possible. Print flat side down of course. Cuboctohedron has one small angle error that needs to be found and fixed, but it's not too bad. You will need some screws to put it together, either metal or plastic, and probably a tap to thread the holes Built-in hinge areas require some cleanup with xacto knife for proper operation and a bit tedious so could use some improvement Be careful to print the first layer orientation in a direction that doesn't weaken the hinge areas Special thanks to author of "Geodesic Math and how to use it" Hugh Kenner for so much fun.
