Tent Guy Rope Hook and Shackle

Hook and shackle set for tent guy ropes. On a recent camping trip, it began raining as I was setting up the tent. Whilst I was tying off the guy ropes (in the rain), I thought of this hook and shackle arrangement to make tying off faster. I leave the shackles tied off to the tent permanently and simply clip the hook to the shackle. I haven't had an opportunity to test the hooks and shackle in the outdoors yet. However, I am confident that it will be suitable. UPDATE: They work well :) . I'm also testing out my own flavour of a guy rope cinch. Components are printed in PETG which has excellent strength properties. Print Settings Printer: Da Vinci 1.0 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 45% Notes: Printed using PETG for strength.
