Tent Pole Topper/Foot For Carbon Fiber Poles

This is a simple project that some may say is a solution looking for a problem. LOL. Take it or leave it, its useful for me at least. I camp with a Lanshan 2 tent but I do not use trekking poles. I purchased a set of Carbon FIber poles from the Ali Express, who is not very much like an express at all as they delivered them by row boat apparently.... but I digress. The poles sink in soft soil, which can change the pitch of the tent and cause you no end of issues in great weather, much less foul weather. And the metal tip is sure to wear out the fabric of the "pocket" where the trekking pole handle would normally go. I designed a small ball end to cover the metal topper to help support the fabric without causing any stress points, I also designed the the bottom foot to hold the base of the CF Pole without holding it so tight that it would pull it out of the pole. The foot has two levels. The top level has a beveled groove for the center bungee tie out of the Lanshan 2's bathtub. The bungee goes around the upper level, and then down through the groove on the lower part of the disc. This holds the bungee down and low to the ground, which keeps the bathtub in place. I designed this on Tinker Cad and my printer tolerances were pretty bad due to humidity and extrusion issues, but I think it will work well. Scaling in a slicer might help you customize them for a better fit. My printer is currently getting an overhaul so I cannot print new ones to test them. At any rate I can send you the cad file if you want to tweak them for yourself. Just shoot me an email or message through thingiverse.
