After the “arrival terminator” I decided to create the other classic poster, the factory where Cameron is being built . . another “ship in the bottle” Now should you wish to print this with out the glass dome and electronics feel free . . The glass dome is from Ikea, so easy to get hold of locally or online . . Please do not scale down any further ..The model itself is 1/6 scale and is same scale as most of my models. I SHARE MY WORK FOR OTHERS TO ENJOY. . .PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THESE FILES ON SOCIAL MEDIA OR OTHER WEBSITES. LINKS TO THIS PAGE ARE ACCEPTED I have included 3 faces and 3 heads to allow a choice of cyborg skull, hair over one shoulder and hair covering body parts!, the 3 faces will fit all three heads so print out your choice of combination . . 24 pieces in total in this build so be prepared for some fiddling to get assembled . . You may need to read the PDF to get the best out of assembly and printing orientation. So a very high resolution file with lots of detail and full instructions. As of yet I have to build and program the Arduino, dont know if sound will be included but . . who knows . .watch this space. . .I will post more pics of finished product when completed painting. I cannot offer any support for the Arduino file or parts used, these will be updated in the PDF when complete. All the parts have been printed and developed to print, As you can tell by the file name the torso is up to version 8! , the base took 2 attempts for segment to be correct. All pieces have been tested and they print out very easy as long as you follow the settings in the PDF file . It was necessary for me to have the face and head separated to fit the LED in the eye . .also the torso has a tube running through the body and the robotic support arm is also tubed to feed the wires, Yes splitting each of the robotic arm also allows flat to bed printing to achieve a smooth flat surface to glue the half’s together once wire is passed through. This time out I decided to use a 2pin JST connector in torso and necks of heads . . this way I can swap heads and still have LED in eye . . check out the photos. Recently I have been asked “why this is not printing? “ Or “This is fill of holes when printed?” Etc. . . please do not scale down or adjust my recommended settings for infill etc. . . as you can see from the pictures this prints very well and I believe you will be pleased with the result when completed. All of my models are only released when they can print! so please do not remix or "fix" faults in this model then republish! If there is a fault then let me know . . message me I will answer and fix problem. . apart from that print make enjoy. I make these models for my own collection but I am always open to suggestions of content for models that cover the DC and Marvel universe as well as TV and film cult images e.g. Barbarella. so message me if you have any ideas . . As always enjoy the parts on offer. I SHARE MY WORK FOR OTHERS TO ENJOY. . . People ask me why the detail is so prominent (not just the Bimbo bits) but the muscle tone, anatomy, clothing etc. on my models . . well as they are primarily made/designed for my own collection I always sand down with fine emery then have models subjected to an Acetone vapor bath for 60 seconds . This seals the shells and makes a smoother appearance but removes some detail . . hence build more detail into the model . . hope you like.
