My new bike came with a damaged cable holder. The original part (see photo) was poorly designed and snapped at the point where the circular cable holder joined with the mounting bracket. To fix this I created a reinforced mounting bracket. It has the original inner diameter for the cable holder, but it now is thickened throughout the ring and has added material so that it does not snap at the joint.
