Scene reproducing the present state of Terracina main square. Terracina is a small town built by Romans 120km south of Rome on the Via Appia, centuries B.C.while extending their power to the south of Italy. The medieval Cathedral, facing the square and the Forum, replaces the original Roman Temple, standing on the same basement, and is built in Romanic style. The few remains of the Forum are still facing the Via Appia; behind them is a big roman Teather, now partly undergroung and with small buildings and towers positioned on top. The Via Appia, whose stone pavemnt is still preserved in place, like the square stones, passes under the arch of a medieval palace joined to the church and disappears under an old house, to emerge again behind and pass under a small triumph arch.Model single elements have been grouped in 58 different objects including a rough landscape-sky and the three dimensional soil/pavement.Each object is textured with a Multi/Sub Object Material generally made with original pictures taken on site . All textures in number of 44 jpg files, are included in each Model file and represent 16.3Mb by themselves. The only structures with developed interiors are the ones pertaining to the church.
