FROM THE GROUND TO THE SKY. The Terrafugia TF X combines the beauty of the aerospace and automotive industry, to solve aesthetically and intelligently the demands in one single vehicle for both, land and air. The incorporation of the rotating twin 600hp electric motors to the folding wings in addition to a compact 300hp gas motor at the rear ducted fan develop enough power to set this hybrid on air easily, which were indispensable according to the Terrafugias team tests. The interior design recalls the familiarity with nowadays cars layouts, including enough space for 4 adult occupants (and cargobay on the front). Overall vehicle measures dont exceed 19’ x 8 ’x 7’ (ie garage) when in car mode, requests which were specified in the guideline. Standout design elements: - Carbonfiber bullet-look monocoque - LED head and rear tail lights - Rear camera to decrease aerodynamic drag by eliminating rearview mirrors
