A crucial component of our terrain, I attempted numerous methods to complete this project with ease. Two approaches stood out - using Google Earth's plugin with a topography program and an all-in-one program discovered on Reddit. After downloading the necessary tools for the first method, I encountered a setback when the plugin failed to work properly. Undeterred, I turned to Google for an alternative solution and stumbled upon a Reddit user who had made their program publicly available. Clicking on the link they provided led me to Terran To STL, where I effortlessly dragged the red selection box over the desired area and clicked 'go'. I then clicked download and transferred it onto my computer with precision.
