Tesla Phone Gauge Cluster Mount

Tesla Phone Gauge Cluster Mount

thingiverse

A mount for a phone, etc to use as a Tesla Model 3 gauge cluster. The mount attaches to the steering column, so you will need to disassemble the trim behind the steering wheel and cut a slot in the upper portion. Plastic alone is a bit wobbly, so it is cut for a 1/4"-20 rod to run the length of the mount to provide support. With a 1/4-20 rod, you can mount your choice of phone mount and use an app like ScanMyTesla to set up a dash display. This will likely require additional hardware to interface with the car's CAN networks. The two halves are held by M5 bolt/nuts (iirc). Printed with the arch acting as an arch with support. You may need to trim the support to ensure a good fit around the steering column guide since it's a close contour.
