Test Cube for Filament Temperature

Test Cube for Filament Temperature

thingiverse

This 25x25mm Cube is 100mm high and can be used for finding the best temperature for your Filament. For the resolution I decided to set 0.15mm, so it lays between the most used resolutions 0.1mm and 0.2mm. But you can set the resolution to your needs. I started with the highest Filament temperature at the bottom and decreased the print temperature in 10°C (and 2°C) steps every 10mm up to the top. For example (for my used Filament 190°C - 220°C): Start with 220°C and lower the temperature every 10mm, ...215°, 210°, 205°, 200°, 198°, 196°, 194°, 192° and 190° at the end. Therefor see the picture where I singed every single 10mm. PS.: do not wonder, I did a filament change during the print. Same manufacturer, same temperature range. Have fun! Print Settings Printer: Anycubic i3 MEGA Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.15 Infill: 0% Notes: Print Bed Temp.: 60 °C Speed: 40m/s Shell: 0.4mm (Nozzle-Diameter) Post-Printing Check the temp. and the finish After the print has finished, check the best temperature for your used filament.
