Sept 2 2019. Added two finger screws with less threads and a holder with fewer threads. May 6 2019. Added a 2mm hex for removal should the PLA threads break from over tightening, plus modeled a M6x1 printer nozzle thread. Test dial indicator using a dovetail mount. Screws into the heater nozzle threads of a Cetus printer M8x1.25. Also modeled is a Creality 10s pro nozzle thread M6x0.75. The PLA holder is rigid enough to make 0.0001" measurements which is way more accuracy than most printers require. Used for tramming the printer or leveling the build surface (Cetus bed leveling requires delicate bending of the aluminum build surface in a vice). Designed so the indicator lever arm reaches the extrusion point or the center of the nozzle. The wide part of the dovetail is 6 mm and the narrow width is 4.5 mm. Swap out the nozzle and use the dovetail that gives the best view of the dial face. Designed in Fusion 360 and printed on a Cetus MKII extended. -Peter
