Tevo Black Widow Filament Sensor Support
thingiverse
Support to mount a filament sensor on the direct drive extruder. I use OctoPrint on my control box. The sensor has to be mounted on the Raspberry Pi GPIO to work correctly. You will also need to install the filament sensor plugin. If you only print from an SD Card using the ramp board, find a free IO pin on the ramp board and update the firmware to configure and enable this option. Note: If the sensor is connected to the ramp board and printing from a computer or OctoPrint, it won't function because there's no way for the hosting computer to detect when filament runs out. The sensor available on Ebay has been updated. The V2 version is 10 mm taller, allowing some material before the filament reaches the end of the drive gear, preventing blockage in the extruder assembly.
