Wanted to tidy up the cabling on the TEVO Little Monster, hiding all the modular connections in an easy to reach place, but didn't want to involve using flexible filaments. I re-sheathed all the cabling with the cable braid used from a generic PC mod kit. I moved the floating extruder to a full bowden style on the top, and this design takes advantage of that. I used a set of springs to float it perfectly over the extruder, which also helps reduce sharp angles to prevent breaking of certain brittle filaments. It also prevents the hard casing knocking the rods. This has allowed my extruder set up to be incredibly lightweight thus reducing vibration related artifacting and higher possible print speeds. I also fitted a genuine e3d v6 volcano. A user on the facebook group for this printer (Sorry couldn't find your name), mentioned there are 2 unused M3 holes by the hole on the top plate perfectly placed so you can actually screw the extruder motor assembly directly to it via the holes original made for the belts to hang it as a floating extruder. I placed it here on 20mm M3 spaces to allow easier access to the lever on the extruder assembly. Requires: 4 x M3 nuts 4 x M3 8mm or longer (Counter-sunk LMCO-Lid.stl, Socket Cap LMCO-Lid-Alt.stl) Several small zip-ties Optional: 4 x Relatively weak 25mm Cylindrical Spiral Extension springs I went through my box of various springs and found this work quite well, I don't really have any documentation on the springs but they have to be relatively weak and be able to loop around the rods or screws. One is attached on each of the bottom screws to a rod to the side of it. Another is set across both rods and a further spring is put in the center of this to the top of the cable organizer casing to the bowden tube/cabling. The base is zip-tied to the cables and the lid is attached with a slot for the bowden tube.
