Original - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2629228 I asked bLITzJoN for the CAD file so I could make a few changes to this great filament detector he made and he was gracious enough to oblige me (love the Thingsverse community). I need something that wasn't going to wear out so quickly due to the different filaments I used (like Carbon fibre and Polycarb). I also use a heated enclosure and wanted to close off the hole left for the corrugated tubing that is used to cover the cabling on the Tevo LM to reduce all the heat escaping out the hole. Changes include; - Previously bLITzJoN had reduced diameter of the section that went through the cut out in the Tevo LM top plate to make it an easier fit, but seeing as I was need to print the part in ABS to handle the increased heat of the chamber I increased it's diameter slightly to make up for the small amount of shrinkage for the ABS and it fits well. - Added the 4.15mm diameter hole top and bottom for the standard PTFE tubing that came with the Tevo Little Monster to ensure the filament does not wear on the guide itself and to reduce the drag it created and beefed up the section around these holes. - Closed the hole up for the cables to go through so it seals this against the TEvo LM top plate when it is screwed in preventing the heat getting out of here - I also shaped the underside "wings" and hole so it clamps the corrugated tube (without damaging it) so it acts as strain relief so the cable is not swinging off the connections of the board (see install instructions) - Added some additional strength to all the surface intersections (which changed the shape slightly) in case you print this item out of PLA and need to use a little "convincing" to get it in as I managed to brake the original (can take a tremendous amount of side loading now). - I also took the liberty to "pretty it up" a little by adding rounded edges all round including the through hole for the cabling and changing the shape of the top to give it a nice pattern as the layers are put down (particularly for layer heights below 0.1mm) I will make up a version for bowden/pneumatic fittings for both sides in the next day or so as I will be running all my filament inside PTFE tubing moving forward as I use 1kg spools and will be keeping everything in dry boxes so makes sense to keep the filament in in enclosed tube as well. Once the Duet laser detectors are ready to go I will change the style over so there is no gap you have to mess around feeding new filament through when you change a role (hardly much of an issue to take 5secs to straighten 30mm of the end of the filament before you feed it through).
