Tevo Tarantula Bowden Extruder Flexible Filament Mod with PTFE Clamp

Two of the things that are most problematic about the standard Tarantula extruder setup are the huge gap after the hobbed gear and the really poor quality PC4 connectors which allow your PTFE Bowden tube to slide in and out during retractions and linear advance. Even the PTFE clips don't really cure that issue, so I decided to draw this modified top half for the extruder. This piece was designed to (and does) achieve the following: - Increase filament clamping force; Spring tension is higher vs. standard due to shortening the spring gap a couple of mm - same as adding a few washers to the stock setup. - Allow flexibles; Filament is now 98% less likely to bend out of the extruder causing it to wrap about and clog up. (Admittedly 98% is not scientifically proven, but it's *pretty damned good*) - Stop the Bowden tube doing a boogie up and down during printing; It will now fit snugly in into the extruder. Provision is added for M3 hardware to clamp the Bowden tube. M3 x 14mm Pan head screw & standard M3 Nylon lock nut recommended - Fit any standard Nema17 type motor; As the original, will mount to with 31mm bolt spacing using the original hardware. It is only sized to accept a hobbed gear of 11mm diameter (i.e. standard Tevo hobbed gear) Enjoy!
