#### Description This is a no-sanding bearing anti-wobbling for a Tevo Tarantula printer, also wrongly called oldham coupler **NOTE:** This is a project still in development. Feel free to contribute, remix and edit. #### Dimensions X axis mount: 2x M4 screws (same as stock) Bearing screws: 4x M3 screws + 4x washers Bearings: Common 608ZZ (I bought mine in Decathlon) #### Functional description This was designed by me because I did not manage to properly sand the common oldhams you find for this printer, so I decided to design one based on 3 simple rules: 1) Use bearings instead of plastic-on-plastic 2) Use the polished side of plastic that faces the glass bed, instead of sanding it 3) No need to sand anything #### Printing tips Print with low speed as parts are small and delicate. You may need a drill to enlarge the holes a bit if needed #### Installation and usage tips 1) Find the best combination for fitting all together in order to have the lowest twist angle. 2) In my case I decided to remove 1 of the 4 wheels from the X axis from the Z rod side so the oldham could move freely. 3) Because there is always a twist angle error (in my case of about 0.1mm), while printing, make some circles around your print and use them to calibrate the first layer height. 4) While calibrating if you have this angle error, always calibrate from lower Z to higher Z, because that is how your print normally comes out. 5) I haven't tried this with lift Z while retracting setting. #### Others **Designed by:** Vasco Baptista **Designed in:** AutoCAD **Attached files:** STL and DWG
