I made a direct drive extruder mount because I hate bowden setup. Note: The stl upload here is a newer revision than the one I am using on my tornado. I had some issues with it and fixed those in the revision uploaded here. However, I haven't had the time yet to test it, let me know if you have any issues. The extruder doesn't exactly line up with the hotend, so it looks a bit crooked, but it hasn't caused any issues for me. You could add some washers between the hotend and the x carriage to line it up if you want to. See photo. As you can see on one of the foto's I installed the fan air duct 180 degrees rotated. This way the fan cable can be routed behind the hotend. The heatsink fan holder is for 50mm fan. The default fan is 40mm. I can upload a 40mm if someones wants to. You need: - m2 nuts for the part cooling fans (I just printed mine). - Few 15 and 20 mm m3 screws and washers.
