Texture painted axe, first try

Hello everyone! This is my very first post here, and I'm thrilled to finally start sharing my 3D art journey with you all. As an aspiring artist, I've decided to take the plunge and enroll in CG Cookie's online course, which marks the beginning of a fascinating road for me. Before signing up, I had already viewed some introductory lessons from Blender Guru Andrew Price on YouTube, so I have a basic understanding of the fundamentals. However, I knew that to truly make progress, I needed to expand my knowledge and skills, which is why I decided to invest in their paid lectures – thanks for the advice, Andrew! As part of an exercise from CG Cookie's lessons, I was tasked with creating a textured model from scratch. It's been a thrilling experience, but also a bit daunting as it's my first attempt at texture painting. I'd love to get your honest feedback on this piece, so please don't hold back – I'm eager to learn and improve!
