TFA Resistance Pilot chest box

TFA Resistance Pilot chest box

My version of the chest box as seen on the pilots in The Force Awakens. I tried to design it for easy finishing. Other than the recesses in the main box, none of the painting should require masking... all different colored parts print separately. The center panel is done in a way that should allow easy access to the battery for the LED (should you choose to light it). Print Settings Printer: FolgerTech FT5 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 18% Notes: I use 4 bottom layers, 4 top and 2 outline. Post-Printing All of the parts will need to be sanded. I like to print with PETG because I find that I can use an electric sander with 60grit to take down the lines super fast, and the heat doesn't soften the print. Any parts that can't be reached with the sander can be filled with bondo glazing putty. I don't recommend epoxy coatings since that softens the details too much.
