For those who use TGTB curriculum and don't want to purchase a math box but have a 3d printer, here are some possible options. Sticks: This is a group of 5, so print this three times. They're 3" long and about 4 mm wide, which is what fits in the box on the lesson where they have you put 6 and 9 in different boxes on the page. Cubes: I haven't tried these yet, they may not print well. They're just boxes with numbers as "holes" on TinkerCad Pawns: The pawns are probably too big, but I haven't tried printing them yet to see how they feel. I put one and two bands on the pawns so they could be printed in the same color to save time/energy. Cars: I made a VERY basic car shape that will obviously need supports, and of course the wheels won't turn. They are the length described on TGTB website but right now it says 1.5" by 1.375" and that looked odd so I kept the length but made it narrower to my preferences. They are numbered.
