This is a set of STL files to 3D print Hex Terrain Tiles for Battletech from Catalyst Games & FASA Games. These tiles are the same size of the hexes on official Battletech battle maps. This set includes two versions of the 5 tiles: 1) Basic hex tile version. 2) Magnetic hex tile versions. These hex tiles are also designed to have 3 mm ball magnets inserted into them so they will be magnetized to neighboring hex tiles and to your game surface if it works with magnets such as a magnetic white board. I recently offered these as part of a recent Kickstarter I ran. I have received no complaints about the hex tiles from the supporters. If you wish to see the Kickstarter page you can do so here. The Hex Tiles included in this set are: Cracked Lava Field 1 Hex Cracked Lava Field 4 Hex Cluster Cracked Lava Field 7 Hex Cluster Impassible Rock Formation Lava Vent Special House Rules I made for these. But feel free to create your own house rules: Lava Field: +2 heat each turn for mechs each turn. 1 point of damage to vehicles and 5 points of damage to infantry. Treat as rough ground for movement modifiers. Impassible Rock Formation: Mechs and vehicles may not enter but infantry may move thru and into. Counts as rough terrain for infantry and treat as hardened building when occupied by infantry. Lava Vent: Nothing may enter, causes +5 heat to mechs in neighboring hexes. 5 damage to vehicles in neighboring hexes. Infantry may not enter neighboring hexes.
