With the ability to go at shocking speeds via propelling itself by jetting out gasses from between its back fins, it deploys a collar to stop, let alone brake. Although this ability is saved for last resort options such as escape or catching fleeing prey, and besides the jetting it acts similiar to the basic shark in hunting. The mandibles on the front serve many purposes, chopping up food, damaging prey and other hostiles, and chopping up kelp to cover itself in “handmade” camoflague. Nobody knows why it has such bright colorings, let alone why its mouth is purple rather than red as most other species on the planet, but theories suggest it is either a result of the diet, or another way to ward off predators under the guise of being poisonus, although the collar also serves purpose in warding off predators so the latter is heavily debated.
