The Better Pistachio Opener and Extractor Tweezers - Updated v1.1

<p>Remixed from the original pistachio opener on Thingiverse. I really loved using them, but wasn't sure what to do with my hands after cracking the shell open and trying to get the nut out with my fingers. Now the tweezers immediately grab the nut after cracking open the shell, sending your pistachio consumption rate through the roof. No more salty fingers! (on one hand at least)</p><p>I put it in the “Kitchen” category, but my testing has shown that they can be used in any room.</p><p><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/functionalprint/comments/vjwigm/pistachio_extractor/?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=ios_app&amp;utm_name=iossmf">See reddit post for .gif demonstration!</a></p><p>Print with supports for best form, and wait until the bed has completely cooled before taking the part off (to maintain the shape and spring of the tweezers). 100% infill takes me about 50 minutes. Works great in PLA+.</p><p>Update v1.1 - added stronger tine elbows and better optimized tine thickness to increase pistachio destruction capability. I broke one of my original elbows on a particularly ornery nut.</p>
