I loved DeltaGamma's design, but unfortunately it was never designed to be printed (I'm not sure why it was placed on a 3D printer database). I split the original model into several printable pieces intended to be glued together after processing. (If you need to re-model, see the included Blender file) The ropes have been removed, as these would be rather difficult to print and can easily be replaced with black string/twine. The full ship should measure 520 mm tall, and 620 mm from stern to bow when fully assembled. There were a few problems with surfaces, but hopefully whoever decides to print this can edit the STL file individually. Each STL piece should be obvious where it goes. The most tricky parts will be the masts. Just know that each mast is separated into either 2 or 3 sections. Section 1 is always the lower one. Section 2 is the next piece (or top if there are only two sections) and Section 3 is always the top (if there are 3 sections.) USE SUPPORTS EVERYWHERE. SERIOUSLY. It'll make the prints seem to take longer, but it'll end up saving time over the long run. And if in doubt, Z hop! Please leave a comment letting us know if you've managed to fix something or how you were able to get around a specific problem. This ship is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to print it. Kudos to DeltaGamma for this design. I just hope my remix makes it easier for people to enjoy the model.
